Najla Arafa is a passionate graphic designer from Egypt. Living and studying in Saudi Arabia at The Faculty of Mass Communication. Born in 1991 and started designing at the age of 15.

Revolution - ثَورة

Her work is deeply inspired by the Arab culture and identity with a sense of determination in emphasizing the women role in our society. The strength and suffer. The religion and beliefs. All of these aspects were perfectly captured in Najla’s work. I couldn’t help but wonder about how much the latest incidents and happenings in the Arab world is affecting our youth.

“I learned by myself I did not get any Academic Education in art. Designing is part of my daily life. My eyes catch colors, pictures and words around me all the time and combine them into piece of art.” – Najla Arafa

“I am interested in Islamic art, drawing and calligraphy. Also as an Arab designer, it’s so important for me to show our cultures through my artworks” – Najla Arafa (link)
